The 2008 Hop Research Council Meeting will be held in Yakima, Washington at the Hilton Garden Inn, Yakima’s newest hotel.  The property boasts complimentary wireless and high speed internet access in all guest rooms, a 24-hour business center, and an indoor pool and fitness center.  The hotel features an on-site restaurant and lounge.  Parking in the hotel parking lot or parking structure is free.  Guest rooms are available at a special rate of $129.00 plus tax.  Request the “Hop Research Council” group rate when making your reservation.  The group rate reservation cut-off date is July 21, 2008

Directions from I-82 East: Take Exit #33B and get into the right lane, marked Yakima Avenue.  At the stop sign, turn right onto Yakima Avenue.  The hotel will be located six blocks ahead on the right.

Directions from Yakima Air Terminal: Exit onto Washington Avenue to your right. Turn left onto 16th Avenue, then turn right onto Yakima Avenue. In approximately 1.8 miles the hotel will be located on your left.  Taxi fare from the terminal to the hotel is approximately $15.00.

    *All Researchers and Members are welcome and encouraged to attend the first portion of the Members Meeting.  Researchers will be excused after the ‘Variety Development Discussion’.
